IS YOUR BRUSHING RUINING YOUR TEETH?

Brushing your teeth is an essential part of maintaining good oral hygiene. However, simply brushing harder does not necessarily mean your teeth will be cleaner. In fact, brushing too hard can actually harm your teeth and gums. ☝
When you brush your teeth too hard you may end up damaging the enamel, which is the protective layer on the surface of your teeth. This can lead to tooth sensitivity, discoloration, and even tooth decay. Brushing too hard can also cause your gums to recede, exposing the sensitive roots of your teeth and increasing the risk of gum disease.
So, if brushing harder isn’t the answer, what is?
The key to keeping your teeth clean and healthy is using the right technique and brushing consistently. Use a soft-bristled electric toothbrush and make gentle circular motions, focusing on each tooth individually. Spend at least two minutes brushing your teeth twice a day and don’t forget to floss!
