It’s never too late to improve one’s smile! After an injury in his teens, this patient had root canal treatments and crowns placed on his front teeth, but over time, he became unhappy with their appearance due to gaps, colour mismatch, and gum issues.
He wanted to address these concerns and, ideally, have all his treatment done in one clinic. With a customised treatment plan, we performed a root canal retreatment and replaced his crowns with beautifully designed porcelain crowns to match his natural teeth.
The result? A confident, natural-looking smile! Now he’s smiling brighter than ever.

This lovely patient visited us to improve her beautiful smile with Clear Aligners. Upon closer inspection, our clinician saw that she needed to fix her overbite and crooked teeth
If left untreated, crooked teeth can lead to the following:
Plaque buildup
Tooth decay
Gum disease
Bad breath
Under the expert supervision of our clinicians and OHTs, she achieved a beautifully symmetrical look with a widened upper jaw and straightened teeth. To enhance her radiant smile, we provided an at-home whitening tray, resulting in a stunningly bright and white smile. The results are absolutely stunning!

Bad breath, also known as halitosis, can be caused by various factors, such as poor oral hygiene, diet, or underlying health issues. Most of the time, bacteria become trapped in hard-to-reach crevices within the mouth, such as between teeth, gum pockets, around orthodontic appliances, or under dentures.
It can be an uncomfortable and embarrassing experience, but you’re not alone!
With the proper dental care at Berwick Dental Studio and a few lifestyle adjustments, you can say goodbye to bad breath and hello to fresh, confident smiles!
A smile transformation that truly changed her life!
This incredible journey began with addressing not just the aesthetics but also the underlying issues affecting her oral health.
From missing teeth, gaps, gum disease, heavy tartar build up & previous dental treatment to a personalised jaw dropping smile using the “All on four” Dental Implant method.
Anne was a very anxious patient when it came to the dentist. She is now confident, comfortable and overall has a more functional smile.
Thank you Anne for trusting us with your smile and congratulations on finishing this journey with us!
Dr. Poli, Dr. Tony and the rest of our team were thrilled to have made a difference with your smile!
Most likely the main cause of gum bleeding is inflammation from lack of cleaning yourself as well as not getting your professional clean.
You can clean the gums by flossing regularly, brushing and having a professional clean.
We can’t express enough how important booking in your 6 monthly check and clean is to avoid small issues that will lead to large underlying issues if you aren’t proactive about your dental care!
But remember we are a TEAM when it comes to keeping your teeth healthy!
A: Stress can take a toll on your pearly whites in many ways! When stress builds up we may unknowingly clench our jaw or grind our teeth. This can lead to worn enamel, jaw pain and even headaches.
Stress weakens our immune system, making it harder for our bodies to fight off infections.
This includes gum disease, which can result in bleeding gums, inflammation, and bad breath.
Under stress, we often turn to unhealthy coping mechanisms like sugary snacks or neglecting oral hygiene routines. These choices can pave the way for tooth decay and other oral issues.
Like many others our patient suffered from dental anxiety, which led to neglecting her dental health. This resulted in the development of gum disease, causing teeth to become unstable and even fall out!
Feeling embarrassed to smile, our patient urgently wanted to regain confidence. Despite having to remove two teeth due to gum disease, Dr. Chu made our patient’s dream smile a reality.
By using handcrafted porcelain veneers and a bridge, Dr. Chu replaced the missing teeth and enhanced the existing ones according to our patient’s desires. Her new smile is whiter, more even in size and shape, and absolutely amazing!

A: Gum disease is an infection that damages the soft tissues around the teeth (gums). In severe cases it can also damage the bone holding the teeth in place. Causing teeth to become wobbly & even fall out!
It is caused by poor oral health and lack of flossing. Factors that increase the risk of gum disease are smoking, vaping, pregnancy, and more!
The signs & symptoms of irritated gums/gum disease are swollen puffy red gums, they easily bleed when brushing, bad breathe, painful chewing and new spaces that develop between the teeth or receding gums!
We recommend a professional clean from your dentist every 6 months, daily flossing, & brushing every day and night. Make sure to brush those gums lightly too!
