SMILE TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY !

This case was an all round team effort. But look at how much teamwork makes the dream work!

This patient was after a fuller and more youthful smile. To do this, we widened her smile, lengthened her teeth, made the shapes and proportions even and lastly brightened it all up.

A gum lift was performed by our trusty gum specialists to add length. After some whitening, Dr Tony planned out 10 porcelain restorations in collaboration with our Digital Smile Designers

and Ceramists to deliver the final result.

Teeth had worn down and chipped extensively over the years

This patients teeth had worn down and chipped extensively over the years, due to his upper and lower teeth biting together in a very traumatic way.

Dr. Tony knew that:

– Teeth straightening alone would only fix the bite, but not restore the damaged teeth.

– Restoring the teeth using porcelain veneers without first fixing the bite would only mean we would’ve had to be more aggressive with tooth preparation, reducing their longevity.

To turn back the clock on this patient’s teeth, we first straightened his teeth and improved the bite using Invisalign.

Then improved the colour with some whitening.

Finally to restore the broken down teeth we used 4 porcelain veneers and some tooth – coloured fillings.

The results speak for themselves, don’t you think!

This patient came to Berwick Dental Studio looking to transform his smile. He was self-conscious about his crooked and discoloured teeth. One of his main concerns also being his front tooth, which had become dark due to previous root canal treatment.

With Invisalign’s advanced technology, we were able to straighten his teeth and create a fuller, wider smile discreetly, without affecting his daily activities or appearance which can come from traditional braces.

To achieve symmetry, we added a handcrafted porcelain veneer to replace the darkened tooth and completed the transformation with pola whitening.
